Cluny Women’s College – Kalimpong, India
The Cluny Women's College was established in 1998 and is run by Sr. M. Declan Fahy of Ireland. The mission of the College is to impart higher education for girls in the region of Kalimpong, India.
GFF donated INR 485,000.00 to Cluny Women’s College to purchase 15 beds, computers, laser printer, desk jet printer and generator. Prior to GFF’s donation there was no computer room in the College at all.
The College offers a degree for Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A) that teaches knowledge of computer basics and advanced concepts and applications to the students. Networking and internet technologies of Physics and Numerical Methods are also covered by this course which gives the locals a competitive edge in the job market.
