New Zealand Projects
In recent years the Glenn Family Foundation has turned its attention in New Zealand where it now contributes to a number of major initiatives. These reflect the affection and interest that Owen Glenn has in the country which became his homeland when he emigrated there with his parents at the age of eleven.
Education and Sport are the main focus, but substantial assistance is also being given to Marine Science and Cancer Research.

The Foundation seeks to help people, especially the young, develop their skills, talent and knowledge and, in so doing, contribute to an innovative and prosperous New Zealand.
The Glenn Family Foundation Supports:
- - The University of Auckland Business School - to raise the quality of New Zealand leadership, management and business capability.
- - The University of Auckland Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences - to speed up the process of drug discoveries to help cancer sufferers.
- - The University of Auckland Marine Research Science facility at Leigh - to create knowledge that will help develop New Zealand's valuable seafood industry.
- - The AUT- Millennium Institute of Sport and Health - to give New Zealand's sportspeople access to world-class facilities, so they can compete successfully at the top international level and also to encourage the development of various sports at a community level.
- - Hockey New Zealand - to inspire more young people to play this sport at both community and top international levels.
- - Community Initiatives - including the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, Variety-the Children's Charity and the Sir Howard Morrison Vocal Scholarship.
